Yushi Yashima

This work is an animation created by using the multiple exposure technique to shoot multiple images onto a film and then editing the footage to make an animation. Through multiple exposures, the technique creates a sense of movement and change from still images, blending various forms together to create new images. This work is an animation piece created with film and live-action, which explores the theme of consciously recognizing that photography, video, and sound are each separate media.

　この作品は多重露光という撮影技法を用いて、1つのフィルムに複数のイメージを重ね合わせて撮影し、それらをデジタルカメラで連続して繋げてアニメーションを作り出した作品である。多重露光により、静止した画像から動きや変化を感じさせ、様々な形が混ざり合い、新しいイメージを作り出す。写真、動画、音、それぞれが別のメディアであることを意識的に取り扱った、フィルムと実写によるアニメーション作品である。
