I presented Project Dive – Methods to trace a city – multi-camera and video experiment at ARS ELECTRONICA in the KNOWLEDGE CAPITAL VOL.6. IMPETUS AND MOVEMENT EXPAND, which explores the relationship between motion and perception in video works. In addition to the video installation work The Dive – Methods to trace a city, I presented a video work in which landscapes were scanned in 3D using scanning technology. I also presented a video installation work that extracted the surface of the city using 3D scanning.I captured the city and people in three dimensions using a shooting method with 3D scanning technology, extracting the superficial contours of the city, people, and landscapes to recreate the smallest bumps and details. The data from 3D scanning lacks information such as color and sound and becomes a superficial contour image like an empty shell. This work evokes essential internal images from the superficial contours like an empty shell.

　「ARS ELECTRONICA in the KNOWLEDGE CAPITAL VOL.6.チカラと動き展 EXPAND」にて、映像作品における運動と知覚をめぐる《Project Dive – Methods to trace a city 多視点カメラと映像実験》を発表した。映像インスタレーション作品《The Dive – Methods to trace a city》に加え、3Dスキャニング技術を使い風景を3Dスキャンした映像作品を発表した。3Dスキャニング技術を用いた撮影により、街や行き交う人々を立体的に捉え、些細な凹凸や細部までを再現させ、街や人、風景の表面的な輪郭を抜き取った。この作品は色や音などの情報がない、抜け殻のような表層的な輪郭となった映像から、見えない内側の本質的なイメージを想起させる作品である。
